and printed envelopes. If you're wondering why you need
printed respond cards and envelopes, read on.
You've invited 200 guests. You think 150 of them will be able
to attend. Your caterer plans accordingly and your wedding
arrives.

- Only 110 guests actually attend. With meals costing anywhere from $25.00 to $50.00-plus per plate, you've wasted at the very least $1,000.00 and an embarrassingly large amount of food and beverages.
- All 200 guests actually attend. Your caterer scrambles to come up with more than one hors d'oeuvre per guest.
As you can see, an accurate guest count is vital when planning your reception, and response cards are an easy way to tabulate responses - and save you money and embarrassment. Response cards are enclosed with your invitations. Guests return them to you by the date indicated on the card, usually two weeks before the wedding, informing you if they will attend.
Give guests a date by which to reply.
We recommend setting your "reply by" date at least two weeks prior to your wedding day. This will give you plenty of time to tally a total guest count and inform your caterer of the final attendance number.
With your respond card purchase, Rexcraft provides you, free of charge, with envelopes printed with the return address of the person compiling the final guest count. The printed envelopes are a great time saver (you don't have to write your return address over and over) and they make it easy for guests to reply to your invitation. Make sure to place a stamp on each envelope for guests' convenience.
